Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass, a Greek-American musician who was one of the original members of Motley's heavy metal group, is an American Greek-American musician. In addition to being the group's drummer for a long time, Lee formed the rap metal group Methods of Mayhem and has pursued solo musical projects. Lee is an avid PETA supporter and a strong advocate for animal rights. In 2010 Lee wrote a letter to Terry Prather, the president of SeaWorld protesting against the treatment given to Tilikum the orca. Lee considered that the animal was due to be released, and he stated that SeaWorld will not permit it to happen because Tilikum is their most important donor of sperm. Lee expressed his displeasure and was horrified by SeaWorld's cruel and insidious methods of getting Tilikum sperm. Lee said that he would prevent more trainers from suffering death, as these deaths were caused by whales' distaste for captivity.
