
Teri Lynn Hatcher was born on December 8, 1964 in Palo Alto, California. Esther Hatcher her mother was a Lockheed Martin computer programmer. Owen Hatcher her father was an electrician and nuclear physicist. Teri was a ballet student at the San Juan School of Dance and was born in Sunnyvale, California. She attended Fremont High School, where she was captain of the Featherettes dance team and was voted "Most likely to become an Solid Gold Dancer." Hatcher graduated with a degree in maths and engineering at De Anza College after which she studied acting at the San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri confessed that her uncle Richard Hayes Stone abused her sexually starting at age five. She helped Santa Clara County prosecutor with their case against Stone. Stone was responsible for the suicide of a 14-year old victim. Stone was sentenced in prison after pleading guilty to four counts of molestation, and later died of colon cancer in prison
