
Alexandra Morgan Carrasco, an American professional soccer player, is a striker for San Diego Wave FC (NWSL), which is the top level of women's soccer in United States. She also co-captained the United States women's soccer team from 2018 to 2020 with Megan Rapinoe and Carli Lloyd. [8][9The 8-year-old Morgan was chosen by the Western New York Flash at number one in the 2011 WPS Draft. She had completed her studies at Berkeley early. Morgan also played for California Golden Bears. Morgan made her debut as a professional with the club and assisted the team win its league championship. Morgan, then 22 years aged, was the smallest national player in the FIFA Women's World Cup 2011 where she placed second. She scored the winning goal in the match against Canada during the 123rd minute of the semi-final match of the 2012 London Olympics. She was the second player in the United States to score 28 goals and 20 assists in 2012, which makes her the sixth-youngest and youngest prolific player in the United States to score 20 goals in a single year. After being named U.S. Soccer Female Player of the Year, Morgan was also selected as a FIFA World Player of the Award finalist. Morgan played a role in helping the United States win the title at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cups. She was also named to the Dream Team. In 2019, Morgan won the Silver Boot.
